Summary
Shaver married her husband, James, and remained in Chicago for most of her career. But she performed concerts often in different parts of America. Each season she was featured as the soloist for Handel's "Messiah," operas and cantatas. She was frequently featured as a soloist in the mammoth pageant, "The Passion Play" that was produced at the Arie Crown Theatre, The Auditorium Theatre and at the Civic Opera House.
