Summary
With music in her soul, [Kim Stratton] became involved with the music ministry as a church psalmist at Divine Faith Ministries in Jonesboro, GA. "I had a wonderful church family," said the praise and worship leader. "I met people, but that was not my focus" expressed Stratton. "I would sing - go to church and do my daily chores and be in bed by 8 p.m. that was my routine for 2 years," explained Stratton.
"I believe it's time to take this anointing that we have in the church, outside them four walls. We scream and holla' and come four walls. We scream and holla' and come home looking tore up from having some good church and our neighbors don't get to experience it - because we don't share it. Our co-workers don't even know what we do, because we have never invited anyone to church...," shared the psalmist. "To get something you never had, you must do something that you have never done. I stretched myself out the box," Stratton said."When you find your purpose, it's like God makes provision for vision. You find what you are to do. . .what market you are to reach and everything you need to make it happen and God will send it to you. After I perfected my gift, the terms of the contract changed.... I lost weight and got my teeth fixed. . .maybe I will be in a movie," beamed the powerhouse. "Universal are the same people who distribute secular artists, Mary J. Blige, Kanye West and Ludacris, I didn't even know this until I was nearly through with the record."See the full content of this document
