O'Hare, who in 1972 was given the Black Man of the Month Award by Father George Clements, called [Willie Taplin Barrow] "the Queen Mother of Help" and admitted he also reached out to "The Little Warrior" to help him assist others who may be trapped in the vices of white racism.
